“My students better understand the concept of evolution, comparative anatomy and the concept of time and evolution. The program is wonderfully hands-on, which also allows all of my students to participate. Most other enrichment type programs our school participates in do not specifically address the middle school science curriculum frameworks.”
-8th grade science teacher from Quincy, MA.

"Its the type of enrichment program that every science
department should fund.  Being able to touch the evidence is an invaluable experience for students."
-10th grade science teacher from Brookline, MA.

"This workshop was fabulous!  Prof. Gold was very organized and created
a wonderful learning environment for all the students.  The materials
were informative, had lots of fun facts and tied in perfectly to our
Early Human lessons taught in class.  The ability for the students to
touch, see and feel the fossils was very beneficial and the movement
from station to station kept the students interest throughout the
workshop. Students with all learning styles were making important
connections through their interactions with this workshop.  I would
highly recommend HOW for Middle School."

-6th grade history teacher from Norwood, MA.

"Handling the fossil casts helps students understand our human history in a way that no textbook could ever convey."
-5th grade science teacher from Milton, MA.
